The Corbett National Park is home to India's oldest national park and is a popular destination for visitors. The park is located in the lower Himalaya of Kumaon, Uttarakhand, near the border with Nepal. It has an area of 342 km2 (132 sq mi) and was established in 1936 as Hailey National Park. It was named after Jim Corbett, a British hunter who wrote some books on tiger hunting in India.

Pithoragarh is a district in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand and is rich in natural resources. It has an average elevation of 2,350 meters and is known for its mountain beauty and spectacular scenery. This district is situated at the foothills of Himalayas and it’s one of the most beautiful places in India. The place has many religious sites that give it a spiritual environment. Known as the “Home to Humans,” Pithoragarh is a popular tourist destination. It offers visitors a chance to see the majestic snow-covered peaks of Himalayas, lush green valleys, river Ganga flowing through the meadows, ancient temples and monasteries. It also offers some unforgettable views of sunrise and sunset from some high peaks like Nanda Devi East Peak (6925m), Nanda Kot (6600m) and Kalanka (6239m).
